Websites for a multi-national campaign to end the use of explosive weapons in populated areas

Working with non-profits is one of my favourite things to do. It’s not hard to be motivated to do great work when there is such passion involved, as well as plenty of trust that everyone’s pulling hard with their particular skill. I have worked with Article36 on a number of websites small to large. The passion these guys have for their work is amazing. They’re also massive content-producers and every site I’ve designed and built for them has needed a strong internal structure to order the information usefully. works particularly well at displaying lots of information with the condensed typeface – Franklin Gothic – packing a big information-punch into a small area. The background grid, initially a design aide, was left in place as another structural device.
